July 2018, Chris Dada becomes Member of New Zealand Institute of Environmental Health
We are delighted to announce that Christopher Dada has been admitted as a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Environmental Health (NZIEH), having satisfied the requirements of a recognised tertiary qualification and relevant work experience in a field related to environmental health in New Zealand.
Chris is an environmental health microbiologist, specializing in the fate, transport, detection, and control of pathogens in environmental media. Chris has a Masters degree in Water Policy from Oxford University’s Center for the Environment, and a PhD from the National University of Malaysia on the molecular characterization of faecal indicator bacteria and antibiotic resistant pathogens in aquatic environments.
NZIEH is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that promotes best practice in environmental health. The Institute publishes statements and policies promoting environmental health, provides standards of professional competency, and provides a code of ethics and professional conduct.
