Nitrogen accounting model of a land treatment system

As part of studies on nitrogen fate and transport at Omaha Beach we developed a high level nitrogen accounting model. The model (using @RISKTM) software predicted likely N concentrations and loads leaving the unsaturated (soil) and saturated (groundwater( zone) from wastewater irrigation loads, precipitation, evapotranspiration, infiltration and permeability as well as uptake and biokinetic rate constants determined from our field and laboratory measurements.
